Why companies need Private 5G Network

Reliance The chairman of India's largest telecommunications company, Jio, Mukesh Ambani, announced on Saturday that by December 2023, 5G telephony services with ultra-high-speed internet connectivity will be available in every area of the country. Jio entered the telecom industry in September 2016, promising free phone calls and dirt-cheap broadband, compelling the competition to either compete or consolidate.

Ambani now promises inexpensive 5G services. "Today, I want to reaffirm Jio's promise to bringing 5G to every town, taluka, and tehsil in our country by December 2023," he stated at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) conference.

Ambani promised the implementation of 5G services in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata by Diwali during the annual shareholder meeting of his flagship company Reliance Industries, held in August.

The majority of Jio's 5G is built in India, thus it carries the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' stamp, he said, adding that 5G and 5G-enabled digital solutions can make affordable and high-quality education and skill development accessible to the average Indian.

It can provide high-quality healthcare to rural and remote areas by transforming existing hospitals into smart hospitals with minimal additional investment, making the services of India's best doctors digitally accessible throughout the country, enhancing the speed and accuracy of diagnostics, and facilitating real-time clinical decision-making.

5G can help bridge the gap between urban and rural India by accelerating the digitization and intelligent data management of India's infrastructure for agriculture, services, trade, industry, the informal sector, transportation, and energy.
